Around Athens, good coaches book up before each season, so ask about waiting lists and package rates rather than single lessons. Group clinics are the cheapest way for an adult beginner to get regular court time and a set of practice partners, and many programs across Georgia sort players by NTRP level so matches stay competitive. League sign-ups happen a few weeks before each season through a club or a local USTA captain. Camps and junior academies usually require a short evaluation first; ask about scholarship or sliding-scale spots, which many non-profit tennis associations offer.

Athens is in Georgia, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. Getting around Athens is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Georgia's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Good stadium! Parking is always rough at stadiums, so arrive early. Thr food is average tasting and priced a little high. The seats are comfortable, but some areas have more leg room that others. Any seat gives you a clear view as they are sloped well.

Great Arena area! We had great seats watching the Gymdogs!! Seats are actually comfortable as well! We try to attend one meet a year since we are 3 hours away. Foods are great here, of course it's pricey!! Definitely love going here!

It was my FIRST Georgia basketball game, and the staff at Stegman Coluseum was amazing. Our party needed handicap seating, and they were full, so they gave us floor seats behind the visitors' basket. They were amazing!!!! Blue Cain was killing it on both ends of the court, and we beat Vandy. Beautiful little stadium. Go Spike & the Dawgs !

Went to the upper level, was not disappointed! The place had little to zero food pieces / debris on the floor and was clean. Bathrooms were also amazing quality. The stadium is full of snacks and sometimes the Jumbotron does silly filters and deals during the game that makes it more special than others. Perfect for viewing the Bulldogβs basketball games! :D (At the time Iβm posting this, these images were actually taken today! GO DAWGS!!)
